Nick Turner

Nick TurnerNick Turner is Co-Director of Firelighters with Grace his wife. Nick is a solicitor and ran his own firm in Bath for a number of years. He now dedicates most of his time to the Firelighters ministry which includes leading worship whenever he has the opportunity.

Nick and Grace worked with students in the 1980s and 90s, seeking to demonstrate and teach them the principles of radical discipleship, and as a result many of them went out in short or long-term mission. Recognising the need for many of these folk to be better pastored and supported, Firelighters was born.

Catriona Diamond

Catriona DiamondCatriona Diamond joined the Firelighters team in the autumn of 2007 and works part-time as the Firelighters Administrator.

Catriona first met Nick and Grace when studying in Canterbury and their work among the students had a huge impact on her life and faith in Jesus. After leaving University she went to work for the Methodist Church, first supporting the work with Overseas Churches and then moved on to work with the Mission Partners.

In recent years Catriona and husband Andrew have been living in Sutton, Surrey and Catriona worked for a local College until the birth of their first child, Samuel. Catriona now spends most of her time being a mother to Sam, but is thrilled to be able to support the work of Firelighters in the Administrator role.
