Jenny Bell

Jenny BellJenny is Canadian and a GP/family doctor. She and her husband went to Kyrgyzstan with Interserve in 1994, with their then two young sons. In August 2002 they took a sabbatical in the UK, timed for when their youngest son would join his brother at boarding school in Monkton Combe (near Bath). Jenny has since remained in Bath, a decision taken after her husband decided he no longer wished to be married and subsequently moved overseas. With her sons now in their twenties and at university in Canada, Jenny is free to go wherever God leads.

Jenny has considered working in a developing country, more in the area of teacher rather than just as a full-time GP. She is particularly interested in inner healing prayer, especially supporting those dealing with emotionally-related issues, such as anxiety, depression and stress-related issues. Jenny is also passionate about justice issues and has wondered about getting involved in the fight against people trafficking, particularly concerning children and sex trafficking. Jenny would love to be involved in something where she could contribute in a practical way with the society she is living in and as such is currently waiting on God for her next step.
