Lisa & Orlando Muerasse

The Muerasse familyOrlando and Lisa work in the North of Mozambique. Previously with YWAM for a number of years, they are starting a new mission organisation called 'Pastos Verdes' - Green Pastures. They felt God wanted them to work in the Churches and villages around where they currently live and minister.

They live in a village 5km from the nearest town and are reaching their village neighbours on a practical level providing clothes, health care advise and treatment, food which they grow on their land, as well as many bible study groups and one on ones with people in the village. Orlando is working with the youth of the local football team and Lisa builds relationships with Mums and their children.

Future challenges and prayer requests:- To finish the part built Children's Home (this is for orphans who will get an education, as well as an introduction to God's love). To develop/increase their food project - having animals to breed for meat, eggs and milk, a permanent worker to oversea this and for a wall/fence around the land to protect it. Also for their training centre for health care training, work skills and bible training/conferences, health and protection as a family - two children under 3! Finally for wisdom and strength as they share God's love and truth in the churches and with the villagers.
